Safeguarding

Our Church is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults, particularly the vulnerable, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Ensuring that children and young people as well as adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life. Our PCC has adopted the House of Bishops’ ‘Promoting a Safer Church; safeguarding policy statement’.

If you have any needs, please let us know when you come or contact us beforehand if you want to check first. The building is accessible and we have an accessible toilet. We also have gluten free wafers if needed – please let us know when you arrive.

St James is open for visitors:

Every Tuesday (12:30-4:30pm); Wednesday (2:0-4:30pm), and most Saturday mornings between 10am and 12 noon.
Feel free to drop by for a chat, private prayer or simply to have a look around.
Refreshments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Our Lady & St Nicholas is open for visitors:

Every Wednesday between 3pm and 4pm for private prayer, a chat or to look around.
